Warehouse Technician
The Warehouse Technician at Blackmore and Glunt moves material within the warehouse and completes other warehouse support tasks. Performs various operations, including unloading, picking, packing, counting, and checking items to maintain inventory accuracy. A Warehouse Technician operates hand trucks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment in accordance with company safety policies and procedures. May view or input information into the company ERP or other databases. The Warehouse Technician typically requires a high school diploma (or equivalent). It is the expectation that this position works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Typically requires 3-5 years of related experience.
Job Details/Benefits:
- $19/hour, plus benefits
- Standard 8 hour day, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with a 1 hour lunch break (unpaid)
- Two weeks paid vacation, one week of sick leave, and one week of personal time accrued throughout the year
- After meeting certain eligibility criteria, including being a minimum of 21 years of age, an employee is eligible to receive mandatory Safe Harbor and discretionary Profit Sharing contributions to the retirement plan. Subject to vesting schedule and 1,000 hours worked in the fiscal year

Daily Functions:
- Adhere to all Blackmore and Glunt safety protocols
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail to minimize errors
- Exhibits successful problem solving skills
- Communicates with customers, fellow employees, outside vendors, and delivery personnel in a professional and polite manner
- Assists walk-in customers to enjoy an efficient order fulfillment experience
- Accurately pulls, packs, and ships products via UPS/FedEx and other third party LTL carriers. Ability to expedite orders when required
- Correctly receives material from vendors and stocks shelves in an organized and logical manner
- Maintains housekeeping by sweeping/dusting the warehouse
- Light mechanical ability to use small tools for minor repairs and to prepare products for LTL/small parcel shipments
- Offer thoughtful suggestions to improve efficiency
- Flexibility to adapt to company and customer requirements
- Execute other functions at the direction of management
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License and insurable
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to safely operate a forklift (training provided)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, stretch and lift/stack boxes in excess of 75 pounds
- Computer literacy to interact with multiple Microsoft Office programs, CRM, ERP, web browsers, and shipping software packages
- Possess or willing to obtain Class E permit for very short haul runs
- Ability to exhibit math skills and general memorization skills
