Technical Sales Support Associate, Customer Service

Description of Role: Candidate will create complete and accurate proposals as requested by customers or as directed by inside/outside salespersons within the company. Candidate shall interact with external customers and vendors in a professional manner at all times while answering questions or resolving disputes. Candidate will work in a team environment to provide excellent customer service. Candidate will take ownership of quotations/projects and issues that arise to allow outside salespersons maximum time to acquire/improve customer relationships.
Candidate will ship and receive material via parcel and LTL. Requires standing, lifting, and ability to operate a pallet jack. Candidate will maintain organization of warehouse environment and participate in physical inventory counts.
Duties:
- In-person.
- Provide selections and quotations on Blackmore and Glunt products as requested by Blackmore and Glunt staff and customers.
- Assist consulting engineers throughout the design and bidding process by providing product selections, submittals, schedules, and specifications.
- Read and interpret mechanical construction plans and specifications.
- Maintain job quote log in the Blackmore and Glunt customer relationship manager (CRM) software.
- Track order status and confirm deliveries.
- Become proficient in company computer-based business systems and equipment quotation and selection programs.
- Assist customers with technical issues and system problems.
- Attend internal and external systems/product training as required. This requires some travel by airplane and stays over several nights.

Compensation: $20/hr

- Employee receives 2 weeks paid vacation, 1 week of sick leave, and 1 week of personal time accrued throughout the year..
- Eligible to participate in company health insurance plan. Company pays ~1/2 of premium.
- After meeting certain eligibility requirements, employee is eligible to receive mandatory Safe Harbor and discretionary Profit Sharing around 7/15 of each year. Subject to vesting schedule.
